Google Chromecast
Just released last week, some people are already calling this little 2-inch device "Google's most important hardware device to date." If you haven't heard the buzz yet, Chromecast plugs into your "dumb" TV set's HDMI port and receives video/audio instructions slung over from your smartphone, tablet, or PC/Mac. Great for watching movies in your hotel room or for sharing the video you just shot on your iPhone/Android or the YouTube clip you just found. It's selling (like hotcakes) for $35 on the Google Play Store, Amazon, and Best Buy.
