The Boostaroo
Like to share your music, videos, or movies with someone on a plane or in a Starbucks? It's not as easy as it should be. Laptops, DVD players, and most portable audio devices have a single headphone jack. Cheap "Y" splitters aren't the solution; they kill the volume and audio quality. To use two or three sets of headphones you'll need a $30 Boostaroo. It's a tiny amplified splitter that'll also extend the battery life of your portable audio device (since you can dial back its native volume level). NOTE: there is a new Boostaroo version out now, the "Revolution," but I prefer the classic model shown above.
